Lila Sciences is looking to design an intuitive and efficient app for scientists to interact with their AI and Autonomous Lab Platform.
Requirements
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility best practices
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries or principles (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly)
- Basic front-end prototyping skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Prior involvement in building or scaling a design system
Responsibilities
- End-to-end design of native app to power scientists
- Wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that translate user needs into clear interfaces
- A cohesive design system, including components, guidelines, and documentation for consistency and scalability
- Collaborative feedback loops with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to refine and implement designs
Other
- 8+ years of experience in digital product design, preferably in SaaS or data-intensive applications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work from research and wireframing to polished visual designs
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, able to present and iterate on designs based on feedback
