Sharp HealthCare is looking to improve operational workflow and consumer experience through automated web and mobile-based applications, and needs a leader to develop and implement a technology roadmap and lead a team of IT professionals.
Requirements
- Hands on experience with agile processes.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology.
- 15 Or More Years in IT and business/industry.
- 7 Years increasingly responsible healthcare management and/or healthcare information technology management experience.
- 5 Years in a complex, multi-entity health care system that included a broad scope of technical and/or management experience with extensive interaction at all levels of management and staff.
- Experience managing cross functional projects and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of web applications using web service and knowledge of a wide range of software technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SOAP, Rest, git, JSON, XML, jQuery, Angular.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team of Information Technology professionals, consulting with and assisting Sharp management in efforts to improve operational workflow and the consumer experience through automated web and mobile based applications.
- Develops and implements an iterative technology roadmap with a 3-5 year future state.
- Ensures development efforts are completed using agile approaches and adhere to industry best standards.
- Leads the effort to effectively translate clients' functional needs into technical requirements.
- Develops appropriate applications to optimally serve client needs, delivering robust highly reliable products.
- Communicate information systems principles to the client community.
- Serves as a key member of Information Systems support services providing focus on emerging clinical and business web/mobile based information issues within Sharp.
