Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is looking to hire a Director, Software Engineer to develop software services, create automation code, work on Landing Zone software components, and establish security guardrails for technology infrastructure.
Requirements
- all phases of the software development lifecycle
- designing and developing applications using Java Web platforms
- Object oriented analysis
- design using common design patterns
- JEE internals
- Linux development environment
- Relational Databases; SQL; ORM technologies including: JPA2 and Hibernate; Spring Framework; Agile methodology; and CRM related software
Responsibilities
- Work on developing software services.
- Work with business application's owners and create automation code.
- Work on Landing Zone software components.
- Establish security guardrails around technology infrastructure.
- Work with customer security teams to recommend and implement best practices.
- Review internal customer and business unit use case requirements.
Other
- Requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as Technical Lead, Senior Consultant, or a related occupation.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
