Requirements
- A demonstrable history of leading engineering organizations that have shipped complex, large-scale platforms in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity, including proven experience managing other managers.
- Deep technical expertise with the ability to operate at depth, guide teams through complex architectural challenges, and maintain an exceptionally high bar for quality.
- Proven experience authoring strategic documents and technical proposals for executive-level consumption.
- Experience applying AI/ML to solve real-world business problems.
- Experience in high-growth technology domains such as e-commerce, healthcare tech, or platform-as-a-service.

- Define, communicate, and implement a clear 3-5 year technical roadmap.
- Champion the adoption of innovative technologies, including AI, to solve complex business challenges and create unparalleled customer experiences.
- Lead an organization of approximately 40, including Associate Directors and senior individual contributors.
- Be responsible for hiring, developing, and retaining top-tier talent, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and acting as a dedicated coach to grow the next generation of leaders.
- Empower your teams to experiment, learn, and deliver breakthrough solutions.
- Be a key sponsor and driver for internal innovation programs that fuel events like our company-wide Innovation Days.
- Partner closely with product, design, and business partners to translate ambitious goals into concrete, well-managed execution plans.
