Requirements
- Strong background in C++ and modern software development practices.
- Experience with software architecture, release planning, and baseline management.
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with technologies such as ALD, PECVD, epitaxy, and vertical furnaces.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global software engineering strategy aligned with ASM’s business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a multi-year software roadmap across product lines and technology platforms.
- Champion software innovation and architectural excellence to support long-term scalability and performance.
- Oversee execution of multiple concurrent software programs, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
- Implement best practices in software lifecycle management, including CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
- Guide software architecture decisions to support modularity, reuse, and future extensibility.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 8 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale software organizations and delivering complex products.
- Demonstrated ability to lead globally distributed teams and manage cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
