The Workplace Investing Quality Engineering (QE) leadership team is seeking a leader to optimize delivery through agile and QE practices, improve customer value, and develop associates

Requirements

  • Deep technical expertise with confirmed ability to drive technical solutions and automation frameworks/pipelines such as Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured, Karate, etc.
  • Practical experience with quality engineering fundamentals such as test automation, data virtualization, and CI/CD integration
  • Experience with agile development teams and quality engineering practices
  • Strong technical leadership experience building an environment and culture to support software quality engineering practices
  • Software testing certifications preferred (ISTQB, CSTE, CAST, ICP-ATA, etc.)
  • BS or MS degree in a technical field such as computer science/engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of technical leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Leading a distributed team of Quality Engineers in the Workplace Stock Plan Services (SPS) domain
  • Establishing standards for the chapter and influencing strategic decision-making
  • Building solutions in the area of expertise
  • Managing a team of chapter members who work within autonomous squads across product areas
  • Developing associates' knowledge area and ensuring alignment on the 'how' of the work they perform
  • Driving technical solutions and automation frameworks/pipelines such as Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured, Karate, etc.
  • Implementing quality gates with an audit and governance approach

  • Seasoned technical global people leader focused on leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing people and teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong multi-functional partnerships and relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record as an outspoken peer leader with peer coaching and strong communications and presentation skills
  • BS or MS degree in a technical field such as computer science/engineering or related field
  • Must be able to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office
