Requirements
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI/ML models in production environments
- Proven expertise integrating multi-cloud platforms, multiple large language models (LLMs), and vendor ecosystems
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, modular systems, and open-source technologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and AI tools
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and align engineering with business goals
- Experience leading distributed engineering teams across a matrixed organization, driving alignment and execution across diverse functions
- Proven ability to drive alignment and decision-making across teams through both formal leadership and informal influence
Responsibilities
- Develop AI/ML technologies to apply deep learning, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to build scalable, personalized search experiences that understand user intent and deliver context-aware results
- Leads the design and evolution of complex systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with enterprise goals
- Oversees execution of software engineering projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to SDLC best practices
- Champions modern engineering practices (e.g., DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native development) and fosters a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement
- Coaches senior engineers and managers, builds succession pipelines, and drives career growth aligned individual expectations
- Operates cross-functionally, influencing product, design, and business stakeholders to align engineering outcomes with strategic priorities
- Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation
Other
- 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role
- Experience mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
