FORTNA needs to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software development projects, managing multiple software projects simultaneously to ensure successful program delivery and meet program goals.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with software development methodologies and tools, including Agile and Scrum
- Experience managing and mentoring teams of software project managers and development teams
- Expert business acumen competencies, demonstrating extensive understanding and exceptional skills with demonstrated application
- Paramount level experience in project management
- Exceptional level of understanding of how to manage both directly and indirectly across multiple workstreams and projects
- Demonstrated high level ability to manage projects and teams remotely
- Highly proficient understanding of PM software, Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve program goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a cross-functional team of software project managers, software engineers, quality engineers, and solution consultants to ensure successful program delivery.
- Develop and maintain program plans, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Manage and track program progress, and ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure program requirements are met, risks are mitigated, and issues are resolved.
- Develop and maintain program documentation, including program plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
- Evaluate program outcomes and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of program delivery.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years successfully managing and delivering software development projects/programs
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification preferred
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Ability to perform essential requirements of the position
