FBG Enterprises Opco, LLC is looking for a Distinguished Engineer to solve highly ambiguous and significantly complex problem spaces across all engineering domains, evaluate and effect robust software solutions through strategic partnerships and M&A, and define the FBG technology suite and all critical systems and integrations.
Requirements
- 10 years of progressively responsible experience in the architecture, design and implementation of complex software systems
- 2 years in the job offered or as Technology Head
- 4 years of experience with Java
- 4 years of experience with AWS
- 4 years of experience with Kubernetes
- 4 years of experience with Kafka
Responsibilities
- Software systems design, implementation, and delivery of critical core systems in highly ambiguous and significantly complex problem spaces across all engineering domains and throughout the organization.
- Evaluate and effect robust software solutions through strategic partnerships and M&A.
- Act as the guiding force for the engineering leadership community defining the FBG technology suite and all critical systems and integrations.
- Act as a systems expert across domains and commonly identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and architectural pitfalls to introduce robust and scalable solutions.
- Actively engage with the broader technical community and evaluate modern industry trends to constantly challenge our way of doing things.
- Contribute to intellectual property (e.g., invent, submit patents, etc.).
