Verizon is looking to solve the problem of developing and supporting 24x7 highly available Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine to Machine (M2M) services in a production environment.
Requirements
- software design, development, unit testing, and production support; using .Net or Java, ASP.Net, C-Sharp, WCF, SQL Server, Oracle, IIS6+
- HTML, Razor, MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, AJAX, XML, JQuery, JavaScript and CSS.
Responsibilities
- Lead software lifecycle feature using requirements analysis, design, development, unit testing, and production support.
- Responsible for software engineering, design, and development using .Net, ASP.Net, C-Sharp, WCF, SQL Server, Oracle, Couchbase, Elasticsearch, JQuery and JavaScript.
- Use IIS6+, CSS, HTML5, Razor, MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, AJAX, XML, TIBCO, Java, Amazon Web Services, Azure and Google Cloud.
- Manage schedules, deliver projects on time in a fast paced agile environment.
- Review and analyze product requirements and develop feature specifications.
- Develop 24x7 no downtime highly available Internet of Things (IoT), Machine to Machine (M2M) services in production environment.
- Provide production support for high availability services and triage for existing customers.
Other
- Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related/similar position.
