Equity Methods is seeking a visionary and hands-on Distinguished Software Engineer to join their Technology and Innovation group to drive the design and development of scalable, secure, and intelligent systems that power their consulting operations and client-facing platforms.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a track record of delivering complex systems at scale.
- Deep expertise in system architecture, software design patterns, and modern development practices.
- Strong experience with web and mobile application development, including cloud-native architectures.
- Proven ability to lead technical strategy and mentor engineering teams.
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies and experience integrating LLMs into production systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with product development workflows and tools such as Jira, Figma, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal architect and engineering lead for complex, cross-functional software initiatives.
- Design and implement scalable systems across web and mobile platforms, with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
- Lead technical strategy and decision-making for core platforms, including AI integrations, enterprise automation, and internal tooling.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns that align with our long-term goals.
- Contribute to the development of internal standards, best practices, and reusable components.
- Partner with AI Product Manager and other stakeholders to integrate LLMs and intelligent agents into production systems.
