The Distribution Support Supervisor role is responsible for leading a team that develops and supports critical Operations Technology systems, data, and analytics for Distribution. This includes managing the development, design, deployment, and maintenance of applications like NMS and ADMS, and leading projects involving both vendor and in-house solutions to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the electric system.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the direct supervision, performance management, and work direction of a group of highly skilled SMEs who maintain, upgrade, and implement critical Distribution Operations systems
- Ensure integrity of NMS model, configuration, and interfaces
- Responsible for NMS historical reporting, including data used by Reliability, Storm Center, and for regulatory filings.
- Lead the upgrades and deployment of new versions of NMS, ADMS, and other software tools.
- Engage heavily in the transition to a Southern Company common Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS).
- Coordinate with PD Operations Support, DSCADA, and cyber-security on issues that impact control center and field operations
- Work with the Technology Organization, Project Management Office, and vendors to develop and deploy new technology and applications used to support the safe and reliable operation of the electric system.

- Responsible for the direct supervision, performance management, and work direction of a group of highly skilled SMEs who maintain, upgrade, and implement critical Distribution Operations systems

- BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Previous experience in Operations or Distribution preferred
- Travel is required on and off the system up to 25% of the time
- Ability to establish and maintain strong positive relationships with vendors, peers, and customers of the DMS organization
