NetImpact Strategies is seeking a Django Web Application Developer to modernize and maintain federal health-focused web applications
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Python/Django, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs.
- Proficiency with modern UI frameworks (Bootstrap, USWDS) and tools (Sketch, InVision, CodeKit).
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, IBM Cognos) and Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS EC2, Lambdas), DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack Django/Python applications for health data, outreach, and classification programs.
- Migrate legacy systems (e.g., OERS, DigitalQA) to secure, scalable cloud-based platforms.
- Modernize UI/UX using Bootstrap, USWDS, and ensure Section 508 compliance for public-facing applications.
- Support data analytics and reporting using APIs, Python, IBM Cognos, Tableau, and Google Analytics.
- Automate workflows using Django FSM and integrate with internal/external content systems.
- Maintain and optimize multimedia content delivery, including replacing legacy media players with VideoJS.
- Develop APIs and support DevOps pipelines to enhance application interoperability and deployment efficiency.
