Micron Technology is seeking a Product Engineer to work on innovative projects that define the boundaries of technology in Automotive DRAM solutions, transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of programming concepts by writing simple programs in at least one programming language.
  • Prior experience in a related engineering role.
  • Familiarity with VLSI and semiconductor device physics.
  • Develop data analysis software and methods, crafting tools to make technical product data more accessible and useful for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and validate process conditions and product testing programs, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Identify product-specific testing requirements and build specialized testing for newly identified fail modes to maintain exceptionally high standards.
  • Act as the point of contact for your product, serving as a liaison between various technical teams to ensure seamless integration and communication.
  • Evaluate and collaborate on data sheets and product specifications with Applications Engineering to refine and improve product operation.
  • Ensure product quality and reliability by partnering with Quality Assurance to confirm that products meet strict industry standards.
  • Build and update user documentation to ensure that all documentation for the product is up-to-date and detailed, supporting outstanding product development.
  • Debug and identify root causes for failures, analyzing failures from customer returns and testing yield issues to determine corrective actions.

Other

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Willingness to relocate to Manassas, VA, and work on-site.
