NBME needs to leverage classroom skills in an educational setting by providing IT Collaborative Services and support to their staff and external partners.
Requirements
knowledge of basic computing/IT network concepts
Knowledge of computer technologies, such as Microsoft Office, scripting, or web development a plus
Responsibilities
Provide technical and administrative support for Collaborative Services team, such as documentation and managing service ticket queues.
Perform daily operational tasks for collaborative technologies such as SharePoint (Intranet), MS Teams, Uniflow (Canon enterprise follow me printing), Citrix (shared desktops), EMS Meeting Services (room scheduling) and Polycom phones.
Work with NBME staff in resolving issues and fulfilling requests.
Participate in defining and completing tasks in service improvement plans.
Participate in troubleshooting issues, testing, and implementing changes to collaborative technologies.
Provide research and assessment for new collaborative tools to benefit the NBME and external partners.
Other
Co-ops must be located in the tri-state area of PA, DE, or NJ for the duration of the Co-op experience.
Proven skills in detail-oriented activity, team environment, examining and developing process/workflows
Good communication skills and ability to work directly with all levels of staff
Beginner - Limited or no previous work experience/first Co-op to Advanced
