Corva is seeking a Drilling Data Analyst to provide 24/7 operational support for the Corva system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data for customers to make real-time drilling decisions
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of drilling systems data including drill string and BHA configurations, bits, mud motors, casing, fluid checks and summary data
- Thorough knowledge of navigating modern websites
- Analytical thinking skills
- Ability to identify anomalies and problem data
- Rig site and field experience preferred
- Real-Time center operations recommended
Responsibilities
- Enter data of various types into the web-based system in a timely manner
- Identify various types of data quality issues through regular QAQC checks and follow procedures to correct issues
- Build customer dashboards and support customers building their own dashboards
- Review data and trends to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Identify anomalies and problematic data
- Follow communication protocols for various customers to resolve issues
- Prepare written reports daily regarding operations and QAQC status

- Ability to work nights and weekends in a rotation
- Ability to enter accurate data and prioritize workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work well with teams
- Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience recommended
