L3Harris is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to join their dynamic team to work on cutting-edge projects that involve the development of innovative solutions for processing and analyzing digital signals in real-time.

Requirements

• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems design.
• Development experience with the Linux OS
• Proficiency with C, C++
• Proficiency with multi-threaded, multi-core design and/or real-time operating systems
• Experience with object-oriented design
• Understanding of Design, Implementation and Testing of large software systems
• Experience with software emulators/debuggers

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement of advanced DSP algorithms for various applications, including audio and data communications processing.
• Optimize DSP algorithms for performance, power consumption, and memory usage on various hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects, to integrate DSP solutions into products.
• Conduct simulations and performance analysis to validate and refine DSP algorithms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in DSP technology and apply new techniques and methodologies to improve existing solutions.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of DSP solutions and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
