The company is looking to strengthen its Ethics and Business Integrity team by filling the position of Ethics and Business Intelligence Lead, Operational Optimization, to conduct globally centralized reviews and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5–10 years of experience in highly rule-framed industries, preferably in the biosciences or pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of international healthcare compliance codes and ethics and compliance principles
- Proven ability to conduct calibrated risk assessments at the activity level
- Solid business acumen in UCB therapeutic areas and products
- Computer proficiency and daily use of IT systems
Responsibilities
- Manage the E&BI Hub for different types of centrally managed reviews
- Perform assigned centralized E&BI reviews related to Healthcare Compliance
- Work with E&BI teams and regions to implement centralized operations and address country-specific requirements
- Escalate issues or non-compliance and train stakeholders on internal standards and updates
- Share identified gaps or improvement opportunities and develop reports to enhance frameworks and systems
- Manage inquiries from the 'ask a question' tool and create standardized answers for common inquiries
- Conduct calibrated risk assessments at the activity level
