Requirements
- Progress towards a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance or any other major with significant quantitative course work
- Ideally completion of one or more actuarial exams
- Strong understanding of market conditions in countries around the world
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation
- Proficiency in WTW proprietary tools and software
- Strong technical skills in areas such as programming languages, data visualization, and statistical analysis
Responsibilities
- Accounting for pension and benefit costs
- Actuarial valuations for pension and post-retirement benefit plans
- Benefits due diligence and other support for mergers and acquisitions
- Project management and coordination
- Data collection and analysis
- Communication of results to a non-technical client audience
- Utilization of WTW proprietary tools and software
Other
- Progress towards a bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong academic record (GPA of 3.0+)
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and on client teams and enjoy a fast-paced environment
- Sense of accountability; owning one’s work and taking pride in it
