VIAVI is looking to solve the problem of providing network test, monitoring and assurance solutions for various industries, including telecommunications, cloud, enterprises, and more, by developing innovative software and hardware solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience with C/C++
  • Windows or Linux Operating Systems
  • Exposure to networking protocols (TCP/IP, 802.11, Bluetooth)
  • Enthusiasm for experimenting with cutting-edge Generative AI tools
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new projects and changing priorities when needed
  • Capability to work in a collaborative/team environment
  • Experience with Agile teams and leadership

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of solutions used in a high variety of industries
  • Work with teammates to solve problems and build innovative software and hardware solutions
  • Build modern software systems to assure high-level service to customers
  • Design, deploy and optimize all types of networks
  • Enable customers to adapt and thrive by transforming complexity through visibility and actionable insight
  • Collaborate with Agile teams and leadership regarding designs, project progress and issue resolution
  • Demonstrate an ability to continuously learn relevant new technologies, tools, methods and processes to leverage in solutions

Other

  • Undergrad or Graduate Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degree
  • Demonstrated skills in time management
  • Ability to work in a collaborative/team environment
  • Capability to quickly adapt to new projects and changing priorities when needed
  • 100% on-site position, offering daily collaboration, hands-on mentorship, and direct access to cutting-edge lab environments
