Dillard’s is looking to solve complex user experience problems for their e-commerce website.
Requirements
- Advanced skills in JavaScript as well as CSS 3 or higher, HTML5, and Bootstrap
- Experience with React 14 or higher
- Experience creating React class components and using React lifecycle hooks
- Experience creating React functional components using React Hooks
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and npm.
- Hands-on experience with Webpack
- Experience using Figma, AdobeXD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications primarily in React, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Research problems, make accurate code changes promptly, test all changes, and then follow up to ensure the desired results are achieved.
- Learn the business environment and collaborate with internal and external teams.
- Understand the basic flow of the site–from product pages to checkout, My Account features and functionality, etc.
- Understand the agile process–card assignment, self-testing, QA testing, and transitioning cards in Jira.
- Understand GitHub Desktop and GitLab–creating branches, committing and pushing, and merging changes.
- Understand how to debug and test using Dev tools and test devices effectively.

- At least two years of experience as a Front End Developer
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Strong work ethic with the personality and drive to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Adaptable to changing needs and priorities
