Microsoft's Global Marketing Engines and Experiences (E&E) team needs to deliver integrated marketing experiences by building, running, and innovating a globally scaled engine to deliver connected journeys that delight customers and create fans. The Media Data Science and Analytics team within E&E enables data-driven decision making by providing data products and insights to measure marketing’s performance and impact, understand the customer experience, and develop systems of learning for marketers. This role will directly support Microsoft's mission by enabling data-driven marketing decisions that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience using data analysis tools and languages—such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, DAX, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, or Looker—to distill complex data into actionable insights and effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical senior-level stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define requirements for data pipelines and reporting solutions to ensure accurate, scalable, and reliable data capabilities.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track end-to-end performance of AI business solutions and marketing efforts.
- Analyze performance data to uncover growth drivers, identify detractors, and generate actionable insights that inform marketing strategies and improve eCommerce experience.
- Provide rhythm-of-business analytics support by delivering insights, recommendations, and scalable solutions that guide business decisions and optimize outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven insights and reports to stakeholders and executives, translating complex analysis into meaningful business impact for both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR equivalent experience.
