The Health Plan is looking to solve the problem of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system support and development
Requirements
- 5+ years in System Support, Computer Programming (i.e. COBOL, Visual Basic, C-Sharp)
- Query Tools (i.e. SQL Server)
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems
- Manage vendors as required to implement new transactions and on-boarding
- Research, analysis, design, and development of tasks within various systems that support EDI
- Monitoring and supporting automation platform(s) to ensure success file transmission to various trading partner
Other
- A two or four year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other similarly related field of study
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Able to update and use relevant knowledge and keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to job
- Able to make decisions and solve problems and analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
- Work independently and meet deadlines as required
