They need assistance in fleshing out book outlines into full manuscripts, conducting historical research, and providing editorial feedback to ensure accuracy and authenticity.
Requirements
- Strong passion for historical fiction and WWII-era research
- Excellent written communication and editing skills
- Ability to work independently and provide thoughtful editorial insights
- Previous experience in editing, creative writing, or research is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and fleshing out book outlines into full manuscripts, focusing on historical fiction centered around WWII.
- Collaborate closely with John Kiss to ensure the narrative vision is accurately represented and aligned with the intended style and tone.
- Provide input and feedback on story structure, character development, and overall readability.
- Conduct historical research to ensure accuracy and authenticity
- Provide editorial feedback on character development, pacing, and themes
- Collaborate with the editorial team to enhance the novel’s storytelling
