MathWorks is looking to support student competition teams worldwide as they design and build robotics and autonomous systems using MATLAB and Simulink
Requirements
- Mastery of MATLAB
- Simulink
- modeling and simulation
- Experience with competitions as a mentor or student required
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g. Gazebo/Unreal)
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts
Responsibilities
- Mentor students and advisors with expertise, training, and guidance
- Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and global teams to create strategies and content that amplify MathWorks’ educational programs
- Engage with team mentors and faculty advisors
- Visit student teams and provide technical support
- Develop models necessary to demonstrate proper usage of MATLAB and Simulink
- Develop ramp-up and other materials needed by teams
- Collect data and perform analysis on the training needs of teams and evaluate the success of the training efforts
Other
- A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required
- A proactive, can-do attitude and passion for helping others succeed
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- 25% travel - mostly within US; some International
