BJC HealthCare is seeking an EHR Software Configuration Manager to oversee the configuration, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Epic Beacon, Epic Research, and Genomics modules, to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of their healthcare services.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Epic specific software applications
- Experience with Epic software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis and design
- Experience with software configuration design, deployment and refactoring
- Experience with testing policies and standards
- Experience with risk management and incident resolution
- Experience with virtualized application and virtualized desktop systems
- Experience with IT operational management
Responsibilities
- Leads BJC Technology teams of operational professionals responsible for overseeing virtualized application and virtualized desktop systems availability, performance, and enhancements.
- Develops BJC IT organizational policies, standards, and guidelines for software configuration design, deployment and refactoring.
- Promotes a culture of quality throughout the organization and drives adoption of and adherence to testing policies and standards.
- Plans and leads testing activities for software applications.
- Leads activities to manage risks and opportunities associated with testing and change.
- Champions high standards in user interaction with the organization’s systems, products and services including involvement of users in workflow/configuration evaluation activities.
- Leads teams of operational professionals responsible for overseeing first line investigation and gathers information to enable incident resolution and allocate incidents.
