Everfox is seeking a software engineer to help design and develop technology solutions critical to their success in building best-in-class cyber security products.
Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience with Elasticsearch applications, including:
- Designing indices for petabyte-sized data sets
- Using related technologies (Kibana, Logstash, Beats)
- Query DSL proficiency
- Experience deploying/administering Elasticsearch (on-premises preferred), including:
- Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK)
- Installation & Administration
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deliver scalable Elasticsearch applications
- Stay current with industry best practices and share knowledge with team members
- Ensure features meet requirements through robust technical solutions and high-quality code
- Learn new skills and adapt to changing requirements as needed
Other
- Ability to obtain US Government-issued secret security clearance
- BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or equivalent work experience
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently on multiple projects
