HCA Healthcare is looking to solve the problem of efficient and effective development, maintenance and delivery of content-specific curriculums for its employees, and is seeking a dedicated Training Developer to be a part of its team.
Requirements
- Working knowledge and application of learning technologies to support education development and implementation, including learning management systems, virtual classroom delivery tools, and eLearning authoring software
- Experience with Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Suite, Vyond
- Knowledge of adult learning concepts
- Experience with desktop publishing and graphics packages, simulation software and audio/visual technology
- Experience with virtual classroom delivery
- Experience with eLearning authoring software
- Experience with learning management systems
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing an annual education needs assessment as input to strategic education program
- Collaborate with leaders to determine the most cost-effective method for training based on the topic and audience
- Comprehend new concepts, content and processes quickly and convert knowledge into effective training programs
- Develop content, deliver and support training initiatives for various groups using a variety of delivery methods including classroom based, 1:1, self-instructional materials, job aids, virtual classroom and webinars/web events
- Apply adult learning concepts through program content and delivery
- Utilize desktop publishing and graphics packages, simulation software and audio/visual technology, to produce professional and effective training materials
- Maintain templates and standards for consistent course development and delivery
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Learning Sciences, equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in content design, development and training delivery required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in content development in virtual classroom delivery required
- Must live and work within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital
- Must be proficient in facilitation and interpersonal communication, and consistently demonstrate skills in organization, prioritization, and professionalism
- Must be able to work in a team environment and support each other
