Dematic is looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer Intern/Co-op to assist with the design, development, and testing of company products and systems, ensuring compliance with engineering principles and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Computer literate with Autodesk AutoCad, Excel, and Word (Siemens NX and Teamcenter experience a plus)
Responsibilities
- Utilizes electrical engineering principles to design and develop company products and systems
- Assists with design specifications,
- Assists team members in design, development and testing of mechanical components, equipment and systems
- Assists other departments and team members in resolving problems
- Review product and system design for compliance with engineering principles, customer requirements, company and national standards;
- Consults with teams to analyze customers’ business needs and plans user requirements
- Troubleshoot equipment and installation problems.
Other
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering
- Strong team player with ability to interact with other disciplines;
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
- Ability to move around work sites and climb ladders
