Bluefors is looking to solve the problem of designing and manufacturing world-class cryogenic solutions that enable breakthrough discoveries, and the Electrical Controls Engineering Manager position is intended to oversee the design, development and implementation of electrical and control systems to achieve this goal.
Requirements
- Experience with AB and PLC programming/troubleshooting, SCADA systems, power distribution, automation, Rockwell RS Logix family of PLC and the FactoryTalk View Studio HMI software platforms for new equipment is required.
- Experience using electrical design software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Electrical and Controls Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- PMP Certification, Six Sigma, or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with relevant national and international standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical and controls projects from design to implementation.
- Oversee the design, development and testing of electrical systems and control solutions.
- Ensure designs meet technical specifications, operational requirements, and compliance standards.
- Ensure all designs and installations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Optimize resource allocation to meet project and organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and implement innovative solutions.
- Provide expert technical guidance and troubleshooting support.
