Emerson is looking to solve the problem of designing, developing, and supporting industry-leading measurement & analytical instrumentation through the hiring of an Electrical Design Engineering Intern
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering or Science from an Engineering School
- Ability to utilize electrical design and development tools
- Knowledge of common laboratory equipment
- Familiarity with circuit design schematics and printed circuit boards
- Understanding of electronic testing and circuit simulations
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to support the development of Emerson’s Automation Solutions products
- Utilize electrical design and development tools used in capturing circuit design schematics, laying out printed circuit boards, and performing circuit simulations
- Perform a variety of electronic testing using common laboratory equipment
- Research and develop new ideas, tools and technologies
- Evaluate Emerson systems and electronic circuits to a functional block or component level
Other
- Pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering or Science from an Engineering School (students of any class status will be considered)
- Zero (0) years of related experience
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at a Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, MN)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- GPA of 3.0 or above (preferred)
