Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking an Electrical Design Intern to help establish, maintain, and improve company standards and tools, and to use these to contribute to project success.
Requirements
- Experience with 3D programs such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, AutoCAD MEP, or Navisworks, and familiarity with the latest operating systems
- Ability to visualize and conceptualize in a 3D environment
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering codes at national and local levels
- Develop and review 3D models and plan drawings for electrical deliverables
- Create schematics, one-line drawings, and concept sketches from engineering inputs
- Maintain and organize master drawing sets, revisions, and originals
- Complete as-built documentation using RFI forms, ECNs, and red-marked drawings
- Check designs for consistency, safety, operability, and maintenance requirements
- Model electrical components from vendor submittals and electrical designs

- Pursuing an Associate’s, Vocational, or Bachelor’s degree in Design & Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, Design, or a related field
- Proficient in email communication and electronic meet
