Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks to be the leader in helping customers package, transport, and display products, and their white paper business aims for the highest level of customer service and operational excellence. This role supports these goals by assisting with electrical engineering projects within their mill operations.
Requirements
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, AutoCAD and Project.
Responsibilities
- Work with mill electrical engineers on the planning, designing, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Update AutoCAD drawings and create new drawings for new projects/equipment.
- Lead and/or assist with project management.
- Communicate and coordinate with operations, contractors, and mill maintenance shops to ensure smooth project installation and startup.
- Monitor costs, managing time restraints, and making sure things are done safely.
Other
- Working towards bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing to work overtime, nights and weekends when needed.
- This is an opportunity to complete a 9-month term from January-August 2026 or May-December 2026.
