Amentum is seeking an Electrical Power Engineer Intern to gain practical experience in electrical engineering tasks, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, and to familiarize interns with industry interactions and demands.
Requirements
- Working towards MSEE with afocus in Power and Energy Systems
- ABET accredited college or university student with a BSEE degree.
- Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications.
- Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
- Previous Internship focused on Electrical Engineering.
- Working knowledge and expertise in MathCad, Python, Excel, and Word.
- Classes focused in Power System Analysis for Industrial Systems.
Responsibilities
- Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
- Assist in the preparation of project calculations.

- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
- Works independently and collaboratively with guidance and direction from others.
