L3Harris Technologies is looking to solve the problem of designing and developing power electronic systems and subsystems for the US Navy Shipbuilding programs, with a focus on delivering end-to-end technology solutions connecting the space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains in the interest of national security.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering or related field with interest in power electronic technologies
- Knowledge and/or experience with Power, Controls, DSP, MATLAB, LT Spice, Communication System protocols
- Experience in utilization of HIL tools
- Knowledge of Matlab (Simulink)
- Knowledge of and/or understanding circuit analysis and operational concepts
- Understanding of electrical and electro-mechanical principals
- Knowledge and/or experience with magnetics design
Responsibilities
- Determine design approaches and parameters related to power electronic applications
- Perform system analysis to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
- Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results
- Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
- Perform simulations and present design reviews to peer engineers
- Write procedures to validate and verify compliance of functionality to design specifications
- Assist in troubleshooting of systems and subsystems

- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering or related field
- Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills
- Familiarity with Windows computing environment
