Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to help establish, maintain, and improve company standards and tools, and to contribute to project success by performing innovative design engineering.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, in good standing
- Interest in power systems engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; willingness to learn department design software
Responsibilities
- Review wiring diagrams, schematics, data sheets, and related drawings
- Analyze requirements from engineering standards, contracts, and proposals
- Prepare basic calculations and drawings per Kiewit standards
- Draft equipment specifications for major electrical components
- Evaluate bids
- Coordinate equipment contracts with vendors
- Maintain engineering records and lists

- Preferred GPA above 3.0
- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Must be a US citizen with documentation for badge access
