Sargent & Lundy's Energy & Industrial Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to assist the Oil & Gas engineering team in executing projects related to the design, modification, and upgrade of oil & gas upstream production, gas transmission and distribution, renewable, and/or carbon-capture engineering projects.
Requirements
- Must have an expected graduation date in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 with a Bachelor or Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.
- Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines.
- Prior, related internship or co-op experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
- Work on a variety of tasks associated with project reporting, such as tracking and evaluating project activities, project progress, and associated data.
- Be involved in system designs and the preparation of specifications for the procurement of major industrial energy equipment and related installation services.
