Collins Aerospace is looking to solve complex problems in the aerospace and defense industry by hiring an Electrical Engineer Intern to work on preliminary and detailed design, development and qualification testing, and providing technical assistance to manufacturing.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft products such as Word and Excel
- Familiarity with reading schematics
- An understanding of analog and digital circuits
- Familiarity with working in a lab environment and with test equipment such as volt meters, o-scopes, power supplies, etc.
- An understanding of electronic circuit analysis is desirable
Responsibilities
- Preliminary and detailed design
- Development and qualification testing
- Prepares design, data and analysis in accordance with program requirements and customer specifications.
- Determines and prepares procedures for testing products, documents result of design studies, trade studies, and failure analyses.
- Provides technical assistance to manufacturing as required
Other
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
