L3Harris is looking to solve the problem of sustaining electrical engineering operations in Anaheim, CA, by recruiting a high-performing Electrical Engineer Intern to support the company's mission-critical needs.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication, technical writing and presentation skills
- Familiar with Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Familiarity with ORCAD and PSPICE is a plus.
- Knowledge of and/or understanding circuit analysis
- Design familiarity with power conversion topologies and electrical components used in power switching applications is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and perform trend analysis on failure data collected from production testing and equipment returned to DEPOT from the field.
- Provide support to lead specific failure related investigations – support corrective action, capture supporting technical documentation and perform verification of corrective action: integration and test, qualification, etc.
- Perform schematic design and circuit level simulation supporting failure analysis and obsolescence related activities.
- Examine datasheets for obsolescence or design deficiencies and provide design changes as required.
- Participate in the Failure Review Board (FRB) to identify and prioritize customer problems.
- Prepare Failure Analysis Reports on depot returned equipment.
- Establish appropriate links with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to monitor the production processes and to identify and prioritize the problems that develop in the course of production.
