Black & Veatch is looking for an Electrical Engineer Intern to assist in addressing pressing infrastructure challenges by working on a wide range of projects within the Underground Transmission Line functional area.
Requirements
Current enrollment in ABET accredited university in Electrical Engineering program.
Relevant coursework or knowledge in Power Systems, Motors, Transformers, Renewable Energy, Power Delivery, or Three Phase Power Calculations
Understanding of engineering design principles and design guides
Responsibilities
Assist in the development of electrical engineering deliverables like reports, drawings, specifications, and studies
Assist with the engineering analyses, designs, and report production
Collaborate with other disciplines and schedule project deliverables
Organize and evaluate data, utilizing computer modeling to analyze systems
Organize project materials, references, and documentation

Problem-solving skills, effective written communication, and the ability to build relationships
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
