OnLogic is looking to create the world's most reliable Industrial PCs and needs an Engineering Team member to help with design, testing, and validation of PCs.
Requirements
- Electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related major
- Demonstrated ability to learn new processes quickly and efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work with computer hardware and software
- Knowledge of PCB assembly and schematic creation
- Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Work with computer hardware, creating and modifying schematics and building PCB assemblies
- Build and test a wide variety of systems spanning the entire OnLogic portfolio and utilize a thorough root cause analysis process to tackle hardware and software issues
- Collaborate with the Hardware Electrical Engineering team to align on daily goals
- Participate in validation engineering tasks, ensuring reports are complete, and assisting with the development of new products
- Support design solutions for new and unique customer opportunities
- Own a technical project from conception to delivery, including research, design, and implementation, to enhance our product offerings
Other
- A junior or senior enrolled in a bachelor's degree program or a recent college graduate
- Available to work up to 40 hours per week during the semester
- Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Satisfactory completion of a background check
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
