Emerson is looking for co-op students to expand their technical and professional skills by contributing to real-world projects, gaining knowledge and experience in product development, engineering, and computer-aided engineering.
Requirements
- Experience with C, C++, and Python
- Experience with circuit board design
Responsibilities
- Conduct tests using various types of lab equipment.
- Build circuit board prototypes using through-hole and surface mount technologies.
- Create schematics and PCB layout used to design embedded circuit boards on CAD.
- Learn “C” programming of microcontrollers.
- Design, build, and test complete circuit boards.
Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- Ability to work full-time during the scheduled semester
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided
- Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
- Ability to return for multiple co-op rotations
