L3Harris is looking for an Electrical Engineering Co-op to join their Special Test Equipment Development Engineering Group to assist in the development of specialized test equipment for electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical products.
Requirements
- Extensive analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, data acquisition, filtering/conditioning, printed circuit design, measurement error analysis, and future system-level engineering.
- Utilization of CAE tools such as Altium and SPICE, and laboratory equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc. used to perform circuit design, verification and troubleshooting.
- Working with or creating embedded firmware to control hardware.
- Working with various serial communication protocols such as RS-232, RS-422, SPI, I2C, etc.
- Some understanding of basic analog building blocks including differential amplifiers, op amps, LDOs, filters, and data converters
- Novice with basic digital building blocks including logic gates, flip flops, timers, and filters
- Little to no experience with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, meters, etc.)

- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering or related field
- Little to no experience with modeling and simulation utilities (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, etc.)
- Novice in creating Technical Documentation
