Mayo Clinic Special Purpose Processor Development Group (SPPDG) is seeking electrical engineering students for a co-op position to gain familiarity with various research and development (R&D) activities, supporting design, analysis, and testing efforts.
Requirements
- basic electrical DC and AC circuits
- electromagnetic fields and transmission line theory
- printed circuit board design
- electronics laboratory testing
- electronics power delivery
- circuit simulation and modeling
Responsibilities
- perform fundamental electronics engineering functions by applying technical knowledge and experience to perform basic engineering tasks using state-of-the-art computerized tools.
- supporting a variety of design, analysis, and testing efforts.
Other
- enrolled in an electrical engineering program from an accredited college or university
- completed a minimum of four semesters (or equivalent) of instruction towards their degree.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Anticipated timeline of the co-op position is Spring/Summer 2026 and Summer/Fall 2026
