Samtec, Inc is seeking to solve the problem of designing unique electronic hardware to support all facets of the company including marketing, engineering, and production teams across the world
Requirements
- Basic understanding of digital and analog circuits
- Familiar with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Orcad, Allegro…)
- Familiar with electrical lab test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope…)
- Scripting/Programming language knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
- Brainstorming preliminary concepts with engineering and marketing teams
- Designing and developing printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Collaborating with Signal Integrity engineer and Layout designers
- Working closely with Software engineers
- Documenting test plans and test results
- Overseeing the manufacturing and assembly of prototypes
- Testing and bring-up of systems
Other
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must
- Quick learner
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Good problem-solving skills
