Arthrex is looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to support the Process Engineering team in designing and building custom semi-automation equipment used in the Final Assembly of electro-mechanical Medical Devices.
Requirements
- Progress towards a college degree in an Engineering degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Controls Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Basic Knowledge of Statistics.
- Basic Knowledge of Electrical panel wiring, software programming.
Responsibilities
- design and develop electrical schematics
- program and debug controls and vision systems
- develop and document Engineering Studies (Design Experiments and machine Trials)
- Custom automated assembly fixture development.
- Vision System Optimization.
- Assembly Equipment Validation.
Other
- The individual will be detail oriented in the execution and documentation of their work.
- The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- This internship will run from January 2026 – April 2026.
- The ideal candidate will have the availability to work at least 25 hours per week at our Ave Maria, FL facility.
- Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.
