KBR is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to support projects around ground-based mobile satellite communication systems and radio frequency engineering, applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering to solve engineering problems.

Responsibilities
- Assist in research, design, modify, develop and evaluate systems, products, components, and applications by applying fundamental electrical engineering principles
- Apply electrical engineering principles in areas of RF, power, AC/DC circuit, communications, and software
- Validate vendor equipment performance and capabilities by developing testing methods, performing tests, and documenting test results
- Support senior engineers with final system performance through execution of test procedures and data analysis
- Troubleshoot and resolve systems for satellite/radio frequency communications and power distribution
- May perform site surveys and field installations with project teams
- Support engineering documentation, i.e., drawings, project specifications, procedures, test data and results
Other
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have the ability to obtain a US DOD security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have valid documentation
- Currently enrolled at, or have recently graduated from, an ABET accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
