Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join their Energy and Power Solutions team to apply theoretical knowledge to solve current challenges and provide system design calculations and related design services.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Degree Program
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- previous applicable internship experience
- completed 2 years of Bachelor's degree program
Responsibilities
- providing system design calculations
- other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering) under the guidance of more senior technical staff
- take ownership of the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the work assigned to you
- progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team
