Electro Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to provide technical and administrative leadership to enhance the product portfolio, improve product and process, resolve field performance issues, and achieve regulatory compliance standards.
Requirements
- Proficient technical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience in boiler and/or heat pump design, PCB and software development, or HVAC system design and implementation is preferred
- BS in Engineering discipline required from an accredited university, Electrical preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical product design or new product development
- Minimum 3-5 years management or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Manages and implements the required training of Engineers, Designers and support personnel for all technical skill requirements.
- Assures that appropriate processes are used by the Engineering team and constantly challenge them for continuous improvement.
- Implements the organization's new product development strategy by managing research activities in order to solve problems, and improve, or generate new products, components, equipment, systems, and processes.
- Leads the most complex, critical, or significant engineering projects. Monitors progress and performance against the project plan, evaluates findings, identifies and resolves operational problems and minimizes delays, prepares detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions.
- Guide electronic design and software development of existing and new control platforms.
- Guide the mechanical and electrical design of existing and new product platforms.
- Actively participates on codes and standards committees and delegates codes and standards activities to the Engineering team.
