Stadler is looking to hire an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the development and implementation of electrical systems for passenger rail vehicles manufactured in the U.S., ensuring successful product development from concept to warranty.
Requirements
- 8+ years as an Electrical Engineer
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
- Experience in the Railway Industry is preferred
- Proven management experience in an engineering team or department is preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers and designers.
- Ensure projects meet technical requirements, safety standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FRA, APTA, IEEE).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, and production teams to ensure successful product development.
- Manage schedules, resources, and budgets for electrical engineering projects.
- Serve as technical lead and point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices within the electrical engineering function.
- Coordinate and plan resources for the Electrical Engineering sub-department for current and future US projects
